Dawn’s Story

I am 6 weeks post op and here is my story. I’ve had severe pains (the severe ones were always on my right side) and had many, many visits to the ER over the last 15 years for what looked like appendicitis. I’ve had way too many Cat scans. Anna’s Story

I underwent a myomectomy to remove some of my adenomyosis and also fibroids in 2014, following which I took six injections of Zoladex. This was in preparation for IVF treatment, which I completed in October 2015 and am currently pregnant. My adenomyosis symptoms include very heavy and painful periods, which has led to a constant battle with anaemia. On Zoladex I suffered hot flushes every 20-30 mins which were unpleasant but overall preferable to the symptoms of adenomyosis.
